The EMEA Sales Manager joins our dynamic global commercial team of sales, marketing, and technical experts. As a critical player, you will propel Geltor to new heights by expanding our presence in the thriving beauty and wellness industry worldwide. With a focus on regional accounts across the beauty and personal care value chain, you will drive new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation. What you'll do:
*Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with company strategy to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and maximize sales growth in the assigned territory.
*Actively seek, identify, and close new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events on behalf of the company.
*Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities, utilizing a consultative selling approach to convert them into successful customer acquisitions.
*Collaborate with the marketing team to develop regional operational sales and marketing tools.
*Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at customer organizations, managing the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
*Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and differentiate the company's offerings.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, finance, and operations to ensure seamless customer onboarding and successful account management.
*Provide regular sales reports, maintain an up-to-date opportunity pipeline, and contribute to the development of market entry strategies and go-to-market plans.
*Support regulatory, quality, supply chain, and operations activities as needed, liaising with headquarters in Emeryville, California.
What you'll need:
*At least 5 years of experience, preferably in an active ingredients/specialty ingredients supplier/manufacturer or distributor focused on the cosmetic industry, specifically the beauty market and personal care segment.
*Proven track record of successful sales experience, ideally in a B2B environment within Europe.
*Fluent in English (required), and native speaker proficiency in French and/or German.
*Passion for the beauty and wellness industry
*Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, capable of working autonomously and independently.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment.
*The ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at various levels of the organization.
*Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
*Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 75% of the time).
