The Position:
Based in the East Coast U.S., the account director/ new business development, will focus on the VMS segment. Nuritas’ goal is to bring our revolutionary ingredients to the B2B market in vitamins, supplements, personal care, cosmetics, functional and medical foods. Sports nutrition, proactive health, personal care and cosmetics are strong focus areas in the USA
Main role may include (not limited to):
· Develop and execute comprehensive monthly sales plans and targets aligned with the company's overall business objectives and ensure they are delivered.
· Develop a vision and roadmap for scaling up our sales in the given territories
· Call on main Nutrition players in the East and Central US, but also other North America U.S. regions, following the Head of Americas guidelines. Fully flexible with frequent travel
· Identify develop new customers into sales opportunities.
· Account management and relationship of existing customers
· Agree on sales routing, call frequency and customers` target list with the head of Americas.
· Fill the relevant reporting documents in CRM, manage budget and forecast turnover adequately.
· Develop a strong understanding of our technology and products
· Be at the forefront of customer's needs and buying decision funnel.
· Keep up to date on market trends and relevant competition
· Participate to trade shows when needed.
About YOU:
· At least 5 years of B2B ingredient sales in the nutrition space.
· A sound customers knowledge is the sports nutrition arena is a real plus.
· Ideally a relevant technical or science background.
· Extensive travel (50%) to customer sites is crucial.
· Ability to build and maintain positive, long-lasting customer relationships
· Conquest and results driven, solution finder.
· A willingness to travel for customer calls and trade shows.
· Excellence in relationship building, collaborative, team player, clear communicator.
