About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Financial Accounting Business Partner to join our finance team. This role blends strong technical accounting skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly and quarterly management accounts.

• Ensure compliance with all tax requirements including VAT.

• Maintain and reconcile Sales & Purchase ledger accounts, General ledger codes in all company accounts, fixed assets register, and the inventory ledger.

Cashflow & Financial Control

• Manage company cash flow, forecasting, and banking relationships.

• Monitor working capital and recommend process improvements to optimise liquidity.

• Ensure robust internal controls, policies, and processes are implemented and maintained.

Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects

• Support the development of financial dashboards and KPIs to improve visibility and accountability across the business.

• Support the CFO, Finance Director and wider finance team as required.

Essential Skills:

• Part- qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)

• Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax compliance, and audit processes.

• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with non-financial stakeholders.

• Commercially focused, with the ability to think strategically and operationally.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation.
