COMPANY BACKGROUND / CULTURE
Nuritas’ mission is to improve the lives of billions, and our vision is to provide the hero ingredient in everyday products. We are transforming the discovery of bioactive ingredients using AI, deep learning, and genomics to unlock peptides from natural sources like plants and food.
Our proprietary platform, Magnifier, uses advanced machine learning and our extensive dataset of molecules to identify natural peptides with specific health benefits. We optimize these molecules for stability and scalability, ensuring they perform in real-world applications. Our plant peptide ingredients include PeptiStrong® for protein amplification and muscle health, and PeptiSleepTM for improving deep and REM sleep. Through our ingredients, customers can create better products that are truly differentiated in addressing consumer needs.
Founded in 2014 by Dr. Nora Khaldi, the company has built the world’s largest peptide knowledge base and formed high-profile partnerships with companies like Nestle, Mars, and Sumitomo Corporation. Its team, diverse in nationality and gender, is driven by innovation and passion to bring nature’s benefits to the world.
We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer, creating an inclusive culture where every voice matters.
Role purpose
Own the commercial finance agenda. You’ll turn pipeline into predictable revenue, drive pricing and margin discipline, and provide decision-grade insight to the ELT and Board. This is a build-and-run role: design the operating rhythm, implement tools, and deliver within a small high-impact Finance team.
Key responsibilities
Commercial partnering & planning
Lead rolling revenue forecasting (12–24 months) by region/product/customer; reconcile with pipeline and production capacity.
Partner with Sales/CCO on territory plans, quota setting and forecast accuracy.
Act as a trusted finance partner to the commercial teams, delivering real-time financial insights to support tactical and strategic decision-making while building credibility and rapport with non-finance colleagues.
Own the supply chain finance reporting process, ensuring alignment between demand planning and financial performance.
Support inventory management, including batch costing and stock valuation, to improve margin visibility and working capital efficiency.
Revenue, pricing & margin (Forecasting & Analysis)
Own price strategy, discount guardrails, and contribution margin by SKU/customer/region.
Establish deal desk governance: build scenarios and align on target margins before signature.
Track gross-to-net, rebates, and promotional spend, drive mix improvement.
Lead the monthly and quarterly revenue and gross margin reforecasting processes in collaboration with Sales and Operations.
Own the delivery of monthly revenue and gross margin reporting, ensuring accurate and timely performance insights.
Manage weekly shipment reporting to provide visibility across commercial, supply chain, and demand planning functions.
Provide deal support for customer contracts, advising on pricing and profitability.
Performance management & insight
Design the commercial dashboard (orders, bookings, revenue, pipeline health, churn/retention where relevant, win rate, ASP, margin, DSO).
Produce monthly ELT/Board packs with crisp narrative: what happened, why, and what we’re doing next.
Run post-deal/post-campaign reviews; codify learnings into playbooks.
Operations/COGS interface
Partner with Supply Chain/Operations on COGS, yield, inventory turns, and capacity planning to protect service levels and margin.
Support S&OP and scenario planning (demand/supply constraints, new product introductions).
Contracts & revenue recognition
Work with Legal on commercial terms (minimums, take-or-pay, MSAs, IP/licensing, milestones/royalties).
Ensure correct revenue recognition (IFRS/US GAAP) for product sales and collaboration agreements.
Build and own a revenue forecast model
Systems & Process Improvement
Support the commercial finance workstream in the roll out of systems including ERP etc.
Automate processes where possible; improve data quality and close/reporting cycle times.
Develop and maintain commercial finance presentation materials (e.g., slide decks) to support regular business updates and strategic reviews.
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes, with a focus on automation, scalability, and adoption of best practices across teams.
Ways of working
Establish the operating rhythm: forecast reviews, pipeline hygiene, deal desk cadence, month-end routines.
